Silky Way is a new magazine which allows the reader to understand the vibe of the place and encourages to experience it, rather than just see it. It aims to appeal to those who are interested in something more than just being a typical tourist. The aim of the magazine is to provide the reader with ideas for how to immerse yourself in the culture and atmosphere of the place discussed in the issue.
Behind Silky Way there’s a one-woman team. Everything, from design, photography and art direction to copywriting has been done by myself. The magazine started off as a Final Major Project idea for my degree in Graphic Communication. From August 2018 Silky Way’s content is also supported by an online blog where I’m sharing my thoughts on traveling and BTS of magazine’s production in between releases,
